Accessibility statement
How easy Quidwise is to use if you are disabled, what does not work well yet, and how to get help.
Using Quidwise
This statement covers the Quidwise CFO website and the app you sign in to, including Ada, the AI finance director. Quidwise is run by CIJ Labs. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to:
- use every page with a keyboard alone: Tab moves through the page, a “Skip to the page” link comes first, Escape closes a window that opens over the page, and Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac) or / opens search;
- use a screen reader: pages have headings, landmarks and one main heading each, form fields and icon buttons have names, figures in charts can be read as a table, and when Ada finishes an answer a screen reader is told;
- zoom in to 200% without the page scrolling sideways, and use Quidwise on a phone;
- use your device’s dark mode, and turn on “reduce motion” to stop the animations;
- talk to Ada or type to her, as you prefer: everything she says out loud is written on screen in the same words, and nothing needs sound or a microphone;
- take your time: the sign-in code works for 10 minutes and you can ask for a new one whenever you like, and anything Ada sends by herself waits 10 minutes first, with a Stop button, so you can stop it (you can make that wait as long as an hour on the Autopilot page, or reply STOP on WhatsApp).
We have kept the words as plain as we can. AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible Quidwise is
We know some parts do not work well yet:
- The report and pack PDFs (the weekly and daily reports, the monthly pack and the lender pack) are not tagged for screen readers.
Feedback and getting things in another format
If you need anything from Quidwise in a different format, such as a report as plain text, an accessible document, large print, easy read or an audio recording, email accessibility@cijlabs.com. Tell us what you need and which page or report it is about.
We aim to reply within 5 working days.
Reporting a problem
We are always looking to make Quidwise easier to use. If you find a problem that is not listed here, or you think we are not meeting the requirements below, email accessibility@cijlabs.com. Say which page you were on and what you were trying to do; a screenshot helps if you can take one.

Technical information about accessibility
CIJ Labs wants Quidwise to be usable by everyone, in line with the Equality Act 2010. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.
Compliance status
Quidwise is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because of the problems listed below.
What is not accessible
The report and pack PDFs (the weekly and daily reports, the monthly pack and the lender pack) are not tagged for screen readers.
Where: Download PDF on the Reports and Board pack pages. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 Info and Relationships.
Every figure in a PDF is also on the report's own page in the app, which works with a screen reader. Ask us and we will send any report in another format.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We check every page with our own accessibility checker. It opens each page of the website and the app in Chrome, runs the axe-core rules for WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA on a laptop screen and on a 400-pixel phone screen, in light and dark, and again at 200% zoom, then moves through the page with the keyboard and opens the windows that appear over pages. The check fails while it finds any serious or critical problem. The problems above are the ones it found; the redesign under way now is fixing the colour, underline and focus ones (it has already made the small buttons beside each figure large enough to tap).
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 28 October 2026. It was last reviewed on 29 October 2026.
Quidwise was last tested on 29 October 2026 by CIJ Labs, using the automated checks described above on every page of the website and the app (with a demonstration business), and the same checks on six pages of a real business’s account. Automated checks find only some problems. Quidwise has not yet been tested by an outside accessibility specialist or with disabled people using their own screen readers and devices; we will say so here when it has.
